About the role

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Intern to support the finance team with day-to-day AP processes. You’ll be working in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with exposure to our upcoming migration to Sage Intacct. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience across the full AP cycle, payments, and reconciliations.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Assistant and Head of Finance in a small, fast-paced team, so you’ll get direct training and responsibility from day one.

What you’ll do

• Process supplier invoices into Microsoft Dynamics NAV (migrating to Sage Intacct in 2025)
• Set up new suppliers in the system using submitted forms
• Prepare and support weekly supplier payment runs (via HSBC)
• Process staff expenses and reimbursements
• Post and reconcile bank transactions (HSBC)
• Post and reconcile Revolut card transactions
• Respond to AP queries and manage the finance/accounts mailbox
  
  What we’re looking for
  

• Studying or recently finished a finance/accounting qualification (Finance Degree, AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable with Excel
• Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and staff
• Eager to learn accounting systems and AP processes
• An understanding of AI and automation
  
  Nice to have

• Previous exposure to accounts payable or finance admin
• Experience with any accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or NAV)
• Understanding of invoice matching and reconciliations
