The Role

You will join as the first member of our marketing department, based in London. The role is focused on shaping our marketing strategy and executing on b2b and b2c initiatives across the US & UK to cement the Group as the first-choice publishing brand for advertisers and consumers.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop and execute a marketing plan to bring Pubity Group’s ‘positive’ mission to life in the industry; raising and reaffirming the profile of our brand, business, people and partners through multi-channel storytelling 

• Manage and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across social, email, IRL, and strategic partnerships

• Work especially closely with the commercial and creative teams to elevate and enhance our interactions with brand partners

• Be a key stakeholder in the launch of our purposeful initiatives

• Collaborate and communicate with teams across the company to surface the best work they do

• Collaborate with the sales, creative, production and social editorial teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice is applied across platforms.

• Analyze performance metrics, track KPIs, and adjust strategies based on insights.

•  Lead community engagement initiatives to foster stronger connections with our audience.

• Work with the founders and other champions within the business to help develop and grow their position as industry thought-leaders .

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships such as brand collaborations, creator partnerships or other mutually beneficial agreements.

• Leverage the social team’s insight to stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, and emerging opportunities, placing PG as a thought-leader in the US & UK.

• Develop relationships with the consumer and trade press outlets to ensure Pubity Group’s announcements are reaching the right audiences at speed.

• Project manage and be point-person for any suppliers or service providers as required under the scope of this role
  

What do you need to have done before?

• 5+ years experience working in a Marketing role at a social or digital entertainment publisher or brand.

• Be a self-starter and want to work in a fast-paced startup. As Pubity Group is 2 years into its commercial journey, with titanic reach across social, we have a brilliant opportunity to create a brand that leaves a legacy across generations.

• Strong understanding and interest in the world of social channels e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, specifically.

• Demonstrable expertise in activating marketing strategies with a specific focus on social and content marketing

• Proven contacts within the industry at brands and agencies

• Passionate about positive storytelling and both b2b & b2c marketing

• An aptitude to learn in a fast-paced environment and hunger to always improve.

• Excellent communication and project management skills
