About The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our London-based Social

team on a permanent basis. The role is pivotal in day-to-day running of the Group’s flagship original show, Old Friend Club. 

The Digital Content Producer will lead on producing original content for the show for platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, alongside taking responsibility for the planning, posting and measurement of content across the show’s key channels.  You’ll be instrumental in managing the relationships between the show and its partners - including talent, care homes and freelance production partners - and in developing new formats and content ideas.

This role is ideal for someone who can marry social-first production expertise with an in-depth understanding of social platforms and channel management best practices.

What will you be doing?

Managing relationships with the show’s partners - including talent, partner homes and freelance crew. 

Co-ordinating and attending regular content capture days, both in the UK and abroad.

Managing the regular ingest of static image content from our partner homes.

Managing and tracking production budgets and spend.

Planning and developing new creative content formats, alongside the wider team.

Collaborating with our Commercial Creative team on brand partnership opportunities.

Liaising with the wider Social team on collaborations and distribution strategy.

Working alongside our in-house video editors to oversee and feedback on video edits.

Managing the posting schedule, including caption copywriting, uploading and community management .

Tracking and reporting on content performance and potential optimisation.

What do you need to have done before?

Essential:

3+ years experience in social-first production, ideally within the original entertainment space.

Experience in channel management with strong social-first copywriting skills.

An excellent knowledge of what makes great original social content, specifically for a Gen-Z audience.

Experience of creating short-form for  Instagram, TikTok and other platforms -and a clear understanding of what works where and why.

Strong budget management skills.

A desire to constantly test, learn and adapt.

An established network of production and post-production contacts

A willingness to travel within the UK and abroad if needed.

Desirable:

Experience of managing US-based productions and freelancers is desirable, but not essential

Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects is desirable, but not essential.

Basic self shooting skills 

A UK driving licence is desirable, but not essential.
