Location: New York, US (Travelling distance)
Working as an integral member of our Global Sales team this role will be based in New York. The role is focused on generating revenue across all commercial solutions including: social branded content, influencer marketing and sponsorships within key client sectors, ensuring retention and long-term partnerships. The aim is to ensure that Pubity Group is seen as a trusted tier-one social publishing partner for our key clients.
What will you be doing?
· Explore new business opportunities bringing in a defined number of new clients & campaigns within your designated industry verticals.
· You will be measured on quarterly revenue targets and other soft KPIs
· Be able to sell the full range of social advertising opportunities (and develop new ones) based on your client’s objectives.
· Maximise coverage across your patch and build relationships with all key departments including strategy, planning, buying.
· Create and develop a list of key target clients which you plan to develop and build into new and long-term business.
· Work closely with the VP, Commercial to maximise the revenue opportunity within your patch to meet and exceed targets and objectives.
· Work alongside our internal teams: Client Services, Strategy, Creative, Social Editorial and Production to create and deliver pitches to our clients to obtain new or repeat business opportunities.
· Fully manage the sales process and client/agency relationship from brief to sign-off.
· Respond to briefs effectively and in a timely way, ensuring all criteria are delivered on.
· Continually present new and innovative ideas.
What do you need to have done before?
· 7+ years experience repping East coast media agencies and brands
· Strong contact book across Travel, Food & Beverage, Gaming, QSR, Fashion, CPG sectors
· Be a self-starter and want to work in a fast-paced startup. As Pubity Group is 2 years into its commercial journey, with already huge social pages, we have a brilliant opportunity but will be up against stern competition.
· Strong understanding and interest in the world of social channels e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Facebook.
· Demonstrable expertise in understanding a brief and developing the right integrated proposal as a response.
· Proven contacts within the industry at media agencies and brands, with excellent negotiation skills.
· Passionate about great work and delivering strong business outcomes for clients - as well as hitting targets.
· An aptitude to learn in a fast-paced environment and hunger to always improve.
